On 22nd April, the local scout groups were invited to a St Georges Day ceremony at the Baden Powell Copse on Rodborough Common, led by Stroud and Tetbury District Scouts. The event was attended by members from Rodborough Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. The district Explorers acted a short play describing the legend of St George and the dragon.
We had a chance to renew our promises and celebrate what scouting means to us. Followed, of course, by a Winstons ice cream.
